Christmas Jumper Day 2019

ICAAL are helping to raise funds and spread awareness for ‘Save The Children.’ Our staff will sport their cheesiest, most garish knitwear, in celebration of this special day.

An all-assault on delicate eyes? Probably. But our Yuletide Yarns will be worn for a very worthy cause.

Making The World Better With a Sweater

There’s no excuse for not taking part in the annual, ‘Christmas Jumper Day.’

Every £2 donation goes towards changing a child’s life for the better. Donations will go toward appeals running in Yemen, Syria and for the recent cyclones in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi.

Save The Children also work in homes, nurseries, schools and communities throughout the UK. They help with the aim to narrow the gap between children living in poverty and their better off classmates.

You can donate to our Just Giving Page here.

Christmas Jumper Tips

Embrace The Iconic Bobbly Knit

Who doesn’t love a patterned knit? Get out that Nordic knitwear and revel in the genuine festive merriment.

Consider yourself the office comedian? Pick your slogan wisely. Are you a Gangsta Wrapper or do you have a resting grinch face?

A good gag can beat ‘Winter Chic’ any day. Just remember to keep the festive puns above board.

It’s The Most Flammable Time of The Year

We all know it’s only a proper Christmas jumper if the material is cheap and makes your arm pit itch. Flammable and toxic? You betcha.

You might want to check the fabric composition and stay away from any naked flames.

A Christmas Jumper is For Life. Not Just For Christmas.

This year, Save The Children are calling on us to hold clothes swaps rather than buy new jumpers. This is after research found that 95% of the novelty items for sale contained plastic.

Do your bit for the planet and scour the auction section on Ebay instead.
