With the ABP Southampton Marathon races under a month away, many people across the city will be gearing up for the big day. Team members of ICAAL, a Southampton based creative digital marketing agency, will be joining the wave of runners on April 22nd to raise money for Southampton Hospital Charity who has previously commissioned them to create engaging marketing materials for fundraising purposes.
Members from the Graphic Design Department, Content Department and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) Department have signed up to take on the half marathon in aid of the charity, continuing a relationship that has included the creation of new stationery, flyers, leaflets, brochures, roller banners and posters that have been used to help the charity to spread awareness.
The marketing materials that ICAAL created for Southampton Hospital Charity were designed to promote their £2 million Appeal to build a state-of-the-art Children’s Emergency and Trauma Department in Southampton.
As an emergency service, the treatments and outcomes are among the best in the UK, but the current facilities do little to ease the anxiety felt by children and families during an often scary and stressful time. This Appeal will enhance the environment, making it a more child friendly and safe place to be, helping to reduce stress for everyone involved, and allow staff to deliver the very best care for those who need it the most.
The new department is expected to see over 30,000 children a year. Attendances to the emergency department have increased by 149% in the last 12 years, so the environment needs to grow with the demand.
