ICAAL are taking part in an exclusive, charity golf event to help raise money for a new Children’s Emergency and Trauma Department at University Hospital Southampton and Saint Foundation’s work in the local community.
After the success from Saints Foundation’s inaugural golf day last year, this year’s event will be held at Stoneham Golf Club. The club regularly features in Golf World and Today’s Golfer magazines as one of the top 100 courses in England.
The day will start with breakfast in the clubhouse, giving golfers a chance to mingle and meet the rest of the players. The teams will then take to the course to take on 18 rounds of golf, sharing the course with Southampton FC legend, Matt Le Tissier and former manager Graeme Souness.
Meet The ICAAL Golfers
ICAAL’s Chris Tahamasaby and Chazz Potiwal (Potti’s Putters) will be taking on ICAAL’s Nicky Vaughn and Matt Pickles (Pickle’s Putters) at Stoneham Golf Club.
Pickle’s Putters
Neither team have previous golfing experience so everything’s to play for!
The forfeit? The losing team will be making tea and coffee for the whole office for an entire week. (Hey guys, tea, White no sugar – just a heads up).
Potti’s Putters
Have your say on which team will win and sponsor Pickle’s Putters or Potti’s Putters today. All funds raised will go a long way to supporting the creation of a state-of-the-art Children Emergency and Trauma Department.
More About The Charities
The Southampton Hospital Charity and the Murray Parish Trust have launched an appeal to significantly enhance the environment of the Children’s emergency and trauma department.
The aim is to create a safe and specialised place for children to be treated and to create the very best environment for those who need it most.
An impressive £1.1 million has been raised so far however, they are still in need of help to raise the £5.1 million target for development.
Government match funded, every donation made will help make a real difference to young patient lives.
